RN / Registered Nurse / District of Columbia / Any / Operating Room Nurses Job

Hospital just north of Washington DC in Maryland is seeking several additional Operating Room Registered Nurses to join their team.

Seeking staff receptive to change.

The role you will play:
Days/Rotating/Evening available
– 7:00am to 7:00pm or 3:00pm to 11:00pm.

Circulate and scrub.

Assess the patient”s/family”s learning needs, readiness to learn, learning style, and presence of barriers to learning.

Develop, implement and evaluate teaching plans for patient populations Participates in QI, CPI and risk management activities Participates in unit shared governance.

Delegates patient care activities as appropriate; evaluates delegated activities for expected patient care outcomes.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Nursing required.

Additional pay for higher level of education.

Active CPR/BLS Minimum of one (1) years previous experience in similar hospital setting or ASC required as an RN.

Technical skills/knowledge to function in Operating Room environment.

Hospital experience preferred.
