Our mission is: “Exceptional people providing an exceptional shopping experience.”Summary:The Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bookkeeper office including but not limited to the overall care of staff and their wellbeing, customer experience and satisfaction, and employee development and training.Office Manager will possess great attention-to-detail and leadership skills, demonstrate professionalism and flexibility to work weekends and evenings.Responsibilities:The essential duties for this position include but are not limited to:
· Builds a positive culture within their store or department by providing encouragement, showing appreciation, and communicating to their employees that they are valued.
· Leads by example by ‘Rolling up their sleeves’ and helps get the job done when needed.
· Training and comprehension of bookkeeping duties to include proprietary software used on daily basis.
· Learns how to effectively assess the department’s progress of completed tasks.

After learning, this position will then manage and oversee all department assigned tasks and reassign tasks as needed.
· Creates staff work schedules and hours.
· Assist Controller in research and auditing of reports to lend towards training opportunities with staff.
· Direct contact for all other staff regarding bookkeeping discrepancies, research requests and corrections of errors as they occur.
· Directs employees in various areas including but not limited to hiring, training and development, and disciplining.
· Assists in resolving customer complaints regarding front desk services.
· Leads department meetings as needed.
· Knows company policies and procedures.

Maintains confidentiality of company records and documentation.
· Utilizes general office equipment, computers, bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases.
· Performs other general office duties including but not limited to filing, answering telephones, assisting customers, and handling routine correspondence.Education:None.Experience:A minimum of two years of supervisory experience and ability to manage a large team is required.

Demonstrated skill and ability to successfully perform related bookkeeper responsibilities.

Demonstrate firm knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include Word and Excel.

General computer networking knowledge is a plus.Physical Requirements: This position regularly requires prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
