Emerald Nomad Instructor with Security Clearance

Clearance Requirement : Secret Job Summary: This position will require the Instructor to conduct research, develop and write doctrine; present instruction to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) selected personnel in various CONUS locations. Responsibilities and Duties: * Develop, prepare, coordinate, execute and supervise field training exercises in rural and urban environments.
* The instructor will be responsible for safeguarding all Government property and classified documents provided for use and at the close of each work period, shall secure Government equipment and classified materials entrusted to you.
* Travel will be required to support the government directed training at various CONUS locations.Qualifications and Skills: * Ten years of Special Operations Forces experience is preferred but not required.
* Relevant experience with this skill set in support of USSOCOM missions in a combat environment.
* Must be familiar with USSOCOM regulations and policies governing the Emerald Nomad program.
* Must have excellent communication skills, and shall speak clearly to instruct, evaluate, counsel and mentor students.
* Must be able to use Microsoft Office products to support course curriculum development and updates to Lesson Plans.
* Must have a valid driver’s license and able to drive contract provided vehicles.Training Requirements: * Must be a Graduate of the Emerald Nomad Course (L3C)
* Must have graduated from the Special Forces Qualification Course or Seal Qualification Course.
* Must have completed a USASOC approved instructor training course (ITC) or USSOCOM approved equivalent. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: * Must be able to walk 5 miles a day over rugged terrain in hot, cold or inclement weather conditions and maintain a high degree of physical fitness.
