In an individual capacity, as a member of a team of deans, and as an institutional collaborator, the Dean provides leadership, oversight, support, and evaluation for faculty and staff within assigned disciplines, programs, priority teams, and related grants.The Dean is accountable for managing the development and assessment of curricula and programs, building partnerships inside and outside the institution, and working to dismantle barriers ranging from institutional silos to systemic racism in order to advance equitable student success.

Responsibilities also include engaging broad data sets in a highly collaborative environment to advance strategic thinking and innovation that leads to purposeful action.The Dean is an advocate for the district within internal and external groups.
