Crew Surveyor

This is a Full-time position in Redmond, WA posted March 10, 2021.

Summary n nThis is a full time position to provide field survey support as a member of a two or three person crew.n n Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:n n Perform routine duties as instrument operator and rod person.

n Maintain and organize survey equipment.

n Represent the company in a positive way.

n Other duties may be assigned.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.n n Education and/or Experience n nMinimum of one year experience or two years of course work in the survey or related field.n n Certificates, Licenses, Registrations n nMust have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.n nMust be 18 years of age or older.n n Mathematical Skills n n Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in English and Metric units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

n n Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities n n Requires sufficient English skills to effectively communicate with supervisors, technicians, and co-workers.

n Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

n Proficiency with computer applications including AutoCAD is preferred, but not required.

n Ability to prioritize daily workload to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

n n Physical Demands.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.n nAbility to cut brush using chain saw or machete; ability to dig with shovel or digging bars; use of jack hammer and sledge hammer to drive in stakes and rebar (monuments).

Ability to walk and hike through rough terrain, snow, and ice.

Ability to routinely lift between 30 & 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.

Frequently required to bend, squat, and/or kneel, and to be on hands and knees.

May need to work at remote sites.n n Work Environment.

Work ranges from high density urban to extremely remote settings.
