Household Goods Move Coordinator/Virtual Surveyor

Continental Van Lines – Fife, WA Full-Time positionHours – 8am-5pm, M-FSalary – $40,000 to $45,000 per year The household goods move coordinator is responsible for ensuring a seamless relocation for our relocating families by acting as a liaison between customers, sales people, and our operations team at Continental Van Lines and out of state drivers.We are seeking someone who pays close attention to detail, can multi-task, and enjoys providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment to families relocating their lives from one city to another. If you love people and enjoy providing 1st class service, you will love this job. You will meet people from all walks of life as they transition their home and families to a new city. This is a full-time position; Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Primary Responsibilities:- Listen to your customers concerns and find creative ways to improve their experience
– Ensure shipments are registered on time, paperwork is accurate, and files are complete- Schedule shipments for required services with all departments
– Monitor shipment movement to destination and give customers pro-active updates- Create files on all relocating employees. Complete all necessary paperwork as assigned.- Support the Continental team and ensure quality service to all internal and external customers- Openly communicate with customers and colleagues to ensure challenges are addressed quickly – Work with multiple 3rd party vendors to initiate services and monitor their performance- Support Sales Team.
Expanded Responsibilities:
– Perform virtual survey’s for shipments and provide cost estimate to customer- Follow up with potential customers and sell services- Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate party
– Assist in the collection of past due invoices- Other duties as assigned Necessary Job Skills & Qualifications: – High School Diploma or equivalent, friendly, and outgoing personality, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and respond quickly to customers and colleagues inquires and concerns – Comfortable performing basic office functions- Strong work ethic, high-attention to detail, and a positive attitude- Dependable
– Be able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment- Must be comfortable asking questions and taking directions- Excellent written and verbal communication of the English language (Bilingual is a plus) Benefits:
