Bridgeways: Delivery Driver/Materials Specialist

Bridgeways is an non-profit organization that works with people suffering from chronic mental illness find employment and housing.

Our Social Enterprise shop is in need of a new materials specialist that will be our primary driver.Primary responsibilities include: Daily driving of our transit van on a routine route, picking up and dropping off orders.

Most driving is local to the Everett area (primarily the Boeing campus), but occasional trips within the greater Puget Sound area may be required.

Very occasional box truck driving may also be required.

(25-50%) Packaging, shipping, and receiving of parts that are to be delivered and picked up.

(25%) Supports monthly inventory processes (10%) Primary Forklift driver (10%) May be asked to cross train and back up staging and other materials department projects (5-30%)Pay range is $17-$18.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualificationsRequired Qualifications: Excellent attendance record is a must Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good attitude/customer service, willing to jump in and help and a desire to learn and develop their skills.

Computer experience, data entry, preparation of shipping documentation, ability to confidently learn new computer systems Ability to read packing slips and POs and match documentation against customer requirements Valid Washington State drivers license and clean driving record Ability to pass a customer required background check Ability to lift up to 40 poundsPreferred Qualifications: Prior experience driving with knowledge of the Everett area (Boeing campus) Prior experience as a materials handler (shipping, receiving, staging/kitting, lifting, inventory) Prior experience using an ERP systemPI137100989
