Senior Decision Support Analyst (Remote US Opportunity)

This is a Full-time position in Vancouver, WA posted July 8, 2021.

This Decision Support Analyst role will require both a strategic lens to understand the end-to-end forecasting processes and an extreme focus on the details of how the models currently operate in order to recommend and build new models / processes. This effort will require an ability to work cross functionally to fully understand how changes to existing processes will impact other teams.WHAT YOU WILL DO:- Assist financial services clients with business solutions- Primarily responsible for analyzing and re-engineering existing forecasting processes and MS Excel models that support credit card acquisitions lines of business- Develop more automated forecasting models that allow for streamlined updates that will save time, reduce manual effort, and enhance technical forecasting abilities- Simultaneously support execution of existing forecasting model updates while building and transitioning to the new processes/modelsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Learn existing processes and models to support execution of current state forecasting for financial services client- Solicit feedback from forecasting team to understand challenges with current process and use cases that are critical to the team- While supporting current state execution, evaluate process and models to develop list of pain points/challenges with forecasting that need to be addressed / changed- Develop and propose recommended future state process and models that would achieve increased automation and simplification of necessary updates while also accounting for automated checks to ensure outputs are accurate- Once aligned with key stakeholders, build suggested models and document future state processes inclusive of user guides / procedures- Evaluate new processes by performing parallel testing of future state alongside current state processes- Once testing is complete, formally transition to new processes and models while ensuring all downstream teams are not negatively impacted by the change and that our new processes link to all existing downstream processes- Monitor process and implement updates as necessary to ensure revised process is repeatable and stableBUSINESS AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:- Experience with process re-engineering- Expert knowledge of MS Excel- Experience with other programming languages / software packages that may be necessary to automate / streamline a manual excel process (VBA, etc.)- Extreme attention to detail and ability to understand processes at every level- Financial services industry and forecasting experience idealLEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES:- Strong communication and facilitation skills to lead business discussions during brainstorming, evaluation, and develop activities- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and drive solutions to complex problems #GD17PRIMARY LOCATION CITY/STATE:Homebased – Conway, ArkansasADDITIONAL LOCATIONS (IF APPLICABLE):Acxiom is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer (AA/EOE/W/M/Vet/Disabled) and does not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, training, promotion or other employment of associates or the awarding of subcontracts because of a person’s race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, protected veteran, military status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics or other protected status.To be eligible for this position, please complete the application on Acxiom’s careers page after applying on WayUp.
