D and F Plumbing

This is a Full-time position in Vancouver, WA posted April 29, 2021.

D & F Plumbing requires a motivated and hardworking individual as a Driver & Warehouse Technician. The position is an essential part of daily warehouse operations and directly contributes to the efficiency and productivity of the company.

In this role, you’ll be expected to work with our warehouse and our field teams to improve the flow of receiving, distributing, stocking, and storing tools, materials, equipment, returns, etc. This position comes with the potential for increased responsibility and further career development with a near-century old company in a rewarding industry.


  • Maintain organization in all aspects of the D&F Plumbing warehouse, trucks and yard

  • Safely and securely deliver tools, materials, expendables, equipment and other items to and from D&F job sites, vendors, suppliers, and other locations

  • Assist with organizing and preparing materials and necessary equipment for jobs

  • Deliver returns upon job completion to suppliers for credits

  • Dispose of waste or recycling materials to designated drop-off centers

  • Maintain an organized system for stocking of trucks (including set up of trucks, truck racks, rack accessories, tools, replacement parts, etc.)

  • Assist with stocking, organizing and maintaining inventory

  • Follow strict safety standards on and off the road and follow all driving laws

  • Keep tools and equipment in proper working order with basic routine maintenance or by checking maintenance schedule

  • Communicate tool and equipment replacement with management when needed

  • Promote facility upkeep with general organization and cleanup each day

  • Help with expansion and growth efforts (including adding or building shelves, moving furniture, reorganizing shop or yard layout, etc.)

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license in Washington or Oregon

  • Must have a clean driving record

  • Must be able to comfortably operate a delivery van or truck and tow a trailer

  • Excellent organization and communication skills

  • Quick-learner and adaptable

  • Good physical health with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

Salary: $16 – $18 Hourly
