IP/ Patent Litigation Paralegal Washington, D.C.

OUR CLIENT Our client, a growing IP Litigation firm with a brand new DC practice, is hiring a Litigation Paralegal, to support the ITC practice.

This position will be 100% remote for now, with hybrid opportunity once the team returns to in-office work.

Compensation and benefits compete even with top global firms THE POSITION The Paralegal should be willing to participate as a team member to assist attorneys, other paralegals, and litigation technology professionals in various litigation matters by playing a key role in the work required to support the firm’s clients.

This hands-on position provides support as an integral part of strategizing case files and process management through all stages of litigation.

Availability for overtime and flexibility for travel are expected.

YOUR CREDENTIALS You will be considered if you have…
· 5 years of litigation experience
· Exposure to or experience in IP and/or patent litigation
· Knowledge of the court process and filings
· Experience with all legal research platforms i.e.

Westlaw, Lexis, etc.

· Managed aspects of eDiscovery and document production
· Experience Bluebooking and fact checking
· Knowledge and proficiency with appellate rules and procedures, including appellate briefing, compilation of appendices, and mandamus petition rules and procedures
· Ability to review and interpret Federal Rules, Local Rules, eDiscovery stipulations and/or Protective Orders, providing information and/or suggestions to attorneys on an as needed basis
· Trial courtroom assistance, including tracking admitted exhibits and time used by all parties, anticipating the needs of attorneys in the courtroom, and organizing/managing all courtroom resource materials You’ll be a top candidate if you have the above qualifications AND…
