CCS Emergency Response team is seeking a CDL Driver who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service and skills to our company, clients and employees. We also service major oil companies and a wide range of manufacturing and industrial clients. CCS has demonstrated its ability to complete large and complex industrial cleaning challenges on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with the most stringent industrial health & safety programs. No industrial cleaning job is too large or too small for CCS. The CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and proper execution of CCS jobs across all services lines. Supervises and completes single task jobs requiring one crew and completes shutdowns and turnarounds with management oversight at client’s site in accordance with client and business requirements and company policies, practices and procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Hazmat endorsement required. Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs. Electronic Logging Device knowledge preferred. Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) preferred. Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers. Experience operating a vacuum truck preferred but will train the right candidate. Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums preferred but will train the right candidate. Essential Duties: Operate truck controls to engage vacuum hoses and moves and repositions hoses as necessary when operation vacuum truck. Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions. Hands-on operation, when required, of manual and automated hydroblasing equipment. Operation of special equipment, such as Rolloff equipment, Ultra High-Pressure pumps, Hydraulic Sludge pumps, heavy equipment, and pressure washers. Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized hydroblasting equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job. Perform all duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders. Direct a crew of vacuum technicians.Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations. Completes pre and post trip inspections, driver’s logs and complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements. Loading and unloading hoses. Unload vacuum truck at the dump site. Provide general maintenance in the field. Drives in accordance with all company safety policies and within all laws, rules, and regulations. Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Operates box van carrying drums with a lift gate to pick up and/or deliver drums at a specified destination. Loads, unloads, and sets up vacuum hoses at jobsite when operating the vacuum truck. Reports all accident and injuries and completes an accident report form. Establishes and maintains the safety of their load. Ensures all loads are properly secured before driving. Other duties as assigned. CCS is an EEO employer.
