Our Kidney Stone Center was the first comprehensive center for the treatment and prevention of kidney stones in the Puget Sound region.

Our multidisciplinary team of urology, nephrology, and nutrition experts provide both preventative care and procedural treatments for patients experiencing acute or recurrent kidney stones.

Our clinic treats kidney stones using the latest minimally invasive surgical and nonsurgical procedures, as well as state-of-the-art tools such as holmium lasers and specialized ultrasonic equipment.SCHEDULE:The Registered Nurse will work 40 hours per week, Monday
– Friday.

This is a no weekends, no holidays position.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Registered Nurse will play an active role on our kidney stone phone line and will handle phone triage on a daily basis.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for answering patient calls and eCare messages, following up on medical records and test results, managing prescriptions and referrals, and providing nursing advice in person, via phone and via telehealth.

The Registered Nurse will provide care across the pre
– and post-surgical continuum and will educate patients and their families on preventative healthcare needs.

When needed, the Registered Nurse will also prepare patients for stents, catherizations, and minimally invasive procedures.REQUIREMENTS:+ 2 years of medical-surgical or ambulatory nursing experienceLEGAL REQUIREMENTS:+ Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of WashingtonDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:+ Recent phone triage experience+ Previous nursing experience in urology, nephrology, or a similar field+ Previous experience working with catherizations or stentsUW Medicine includes Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center
