United Parcel Service: Warehouse Worker – Package Handler

Shift: Preload (5:30 AM 9:00 AM) WAREHOUSE WORKER – PACKAGE HANDLER$14.00 $19.00/Hour depending on location and shiftUPS is hiring individuals to work as Part Time Package Handlers that are alsoDOT qualifiedwith a commercial driver’s license.

Job duties would be both the handling and loading of small packages as well as positioning of package vans within our yard facility for loading and washing.

The ability to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission is required as well as passing a DOT road test.

You must be at least 21 years of age and have had no driving suspensions in the past 3 years.

Note that the majority of your time will be as a Package Handler which is a very physical fast paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and sliding of packages that typically weight between 25 – 35 pounds but may weight up to 70lbs.

The driving portion of your job duties are primarily on site yard, but does require limited driving on surface streets.

It does not involve any open road or highway driving.If you’re a student at an approved college, university, trade or technical school, UPS offers an educational assistance program that could provide you with up to $25,000 for tuition, books and fees.
