SUMMARY: The Electric Vehicle Maintenance Operations and Maintenance Services Senior Project Manager will develop and manage maintenance services across BV divisions to support the electric vehicle (EV) market. This position is responsible for overseeing the operations, budget, reporting, process improvement, and customer/engagement of assigned programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.

The Operations and Maintenance Electric Vehicle Senior Project Manager will:

  • Spearhead the implementation and performance assigned programs to achieve installation of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) infrastructure targets for BV clients in cities nationwide.
  • Manage employees, contractors, and vendors to resolve assigned O&M issues from multisite EV Clients.
  • Foster a proactive and customer-centric culture in an effort to foster trust, confidence among customers / electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) developers / technology providers, the sales team, and create new / maintain relationships.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned EV client programs including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing resources needed to achieve EVSE infrastructure installation goals.
  • Collaborate within EV team, other internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure stellar customer service, robust program performance and to secure continued growth.
  • Supervise program design, customer enrollments, budget and timely and accurate incentive payments and reporting.
  • Foster growth through innovative design solutions, collaborative relationships with stakeholders both internal and external and through development and training of employees and contractors.
  • Develop, document and hone processes for assigned programs and projects.
  • Conduct performance reviews and monitor/manage direct reports.
  • Create and present reports defining project/program performance and profitability, resource availability and divisional goals.
  • Ability to climb ladders (including vertical ladders up multiple stories) and/or steep roof stairs (for each building assessed, at least once per on-site assessment)
  • Ability to travel, on average, approximately 50% of time to client sites and offices across the U.S. via plane and driving as determined based on the project location. Overnight stays away from home may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The EVSPM will ensure that the EV team is given clear and defined scope of work outlines, visits and projects occur on time, issues are resolved, and technical decisions are made. Directly supervises employees on the team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
*

  • B.S. or B.A. Degree in Construction, Architecture or Engineering, Business or related field required
  • Five to ten years of direct work experience in high volume multisite facilities maintenance (50+ sites).
  • Proven experience (at least five years) in managing direct reports in a supervisory role.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
*

  • Strong consideration will be given to those that are PMP and LEED certified
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Personal credit sufficient to charge business travel expenses of up to $3,000 required.

  • Must be able to work from a remote location
  • Must have a cell phone and supply your own internet service.
  • Occasional weekend travel required.
  • Must be willing to fly and live near (or be willing to relocate to) a major metropolitan area with reasonable access to a major airport

  • Knowledge of construction components, process and methodologies required
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications with a strong emphasis in MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with BV employees and customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills including ability to perform multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to use and skillfully operate an electronic tablet efficiently in the field for live data collection is essential to this position

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be energized and excited about the EV market space and have a strong desire to grow the business.
  • Must have supervisory experience in multisite break/fix response management.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision or guidance.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing information, both technical and financial, and making recommendations based on that information.
  • Stellar communication, presentation, interpersonal and writing skills.
