Blue Rhino District Manager

BE A NAME BEHIND THE FLAME!Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is currently seeking a District Manager to support our Hamptonville, Greer, Knoxville and Princetonservice units.

As a District Manager at Blue Rhino, your primary purpose is to ensure the effective, efficient and progressive performance of drivers and field instillation specialist.

As a District Manager, a Class A or B CDL is needed with hazmat and tanker endorsements, along with the willingness to jump in and help your team make deliveries to customers.

This is not an office based position, but rather an all-encompassing leadership position that is field based.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Insurance Plans401(k) plan with company matchPaid time off (including holidays)Paid training and tuition reimbursementBonus potentialPropane discountsEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Essential Functions:Drives a perpetual growth environment and corresponding initiatives throughout the district, being directly involved with the execution at the customer levelEngages in field operations, customer interaction and employee developmentDetermine the most effective use of resources available to provide outstanding customer serviceAssumes some responsibility for district P&L/budgetEnsures that the district remains compliant with the company safety policies and procedures, and follows applicable laws and regulationsSelects, trains, coaches and develops district employeesInstills and upholds a customer service culture within the district that fosters retention, relationships and loyaltyActs as a business owner and sets an example that inspires the team to embrace every new opportunity, defend the customer base and capture increased market shareMust be willing to travel to the locations that you will be supporting; Knoxville, TN, Princeton, WV, Hamptonville, NC and Greer, SC as neededExperience:Bachelor’s degree in operations or business management preferredClass A CDL Required with a Hazmat Endorsement3+ years management experience in marketing, sales, and operationsDOT or propane gas experienceCustomer service experience.Solid understanding of expense management conceptsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels as well as customersProficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and AccessProven history of ethical business decision and integrityWhy Blue Rhino?Ferrellgas / Blue Rhino has a friendly, family, competitive atmosphere.
