Branch Manager Washington

Main Purpose:Provide overall management direction for all Branch functions.

Responsible for the P&L of a business unit with less than*6* *Revenue Units* with the objective to grow the Branch and / or develop professionally into a Division Manager.Key Relationships:InternalBranch Managers, Area General Manager, Regional Vice PresidentShop Manager/Dispatch, Mechanics, Technicians, Laborers, Administrative StaffSalesExternalExisting & potential customer baseIndustry AssociationsSpecific Role Responsibilities:Carry out Branch objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policyPlan, staff, and supervise all Branch activities including personnel administration, performance review, defining functions, responsibilities, etc.Maintain positive financial posture for the Branch and monitor cost analysis activities on routine basisPerform and direct research and client contract to identify potential projects (customers), and gain admittance to bidder’s listMaintain an effective business development program, securing new work on a routine basisAssume sales responsibilities as required to support the goals and objectives of the BranchMonitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by the BranchDrive organization’s programs, policies, standards, and procedures consistent with corporate directiveAssume additional responsibilities as required by the Branch’s operating needs or as directed by corporate directiveJob RequirementsPosition has overall P/L responsibility and requires proficient business development, marketing, and sales skills4 year Technical or Business Administration degree and/or equivalent extensive experience in the construction (services) industryUnion Labor Relations (as required)

– includes marketing strategy and sales tactics, demonstration, sales techniques, including use of SalesForce.comManagement of resources, analysis of budgets and related construction accounting; understanding of business financials (P&L) is requiredHuman Resources
