Director of Global and Americas Marketplace Management

Leads HP’s global marketplace strategy to deliver a consistent, best-in-class online customer experience for all HP products, strengthen customer loyalty and protect the HP brand on global marketplaces.

This executive owns Americas (NA, LATAM) marketplace management (Amazon, Walmart.com, Mercado Libre, etc.) via a team of direct reports, and leads coordination of a consistent customer experience implementation globally with regional/market leads dedicated to APJ, China and Europe/ISE marketplace management.

This position requires digital marketing/eCommerce/marketplace management expertise along with strong business management, sales, operational, negotiation/influencing and team management skills, along with flexibility to manage across time zones.Key Responsibilities: Global Marketplace management
– You define HP’s global marketplace strategy and manage marketplace digital marketing and sales execution in coordination with HP marketplace managers responsible for specific geographies (Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific & Japan, China).Americas Market Place management
– You also manage the North and Latin Americas marketplaces with several direct report teams accountable for these accounts (e.g.

Amazon, Newegg, eBay, Google Shopping, FB, Mercado Libre etc.).Innovate in the art of Marketplace management to win where customers are searching, browsing and buying.Define and expand best practices that enable a seamless omnichannel customer purchase experience for HP products on marketplaces around the globe.Track and report out execution progress across market placesLead, influence and execute market place management improvements needed with Managing Directors or their senior sales managers, Sales Analytics, Category management, Marketing, Legal stakeholders.Negotiate alignment with external marketplace accounts to drive towards an improved customer experience.Benchmark HP’s progress in marketplace management with top companies in non-competing industriesRecruit, retain, train and motivate a world class team of digital/eCommerce professionalsTrack key competitors and overall market place trends.Lead effectively in a complex environment and deliver results; influence where needed without direct authorityBalance between competing priorities; drive world-class team performanceQualifications: eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Omnichannel skillsStrategic mindsetExperience in category and/or sales managementExperience in global business managementProven people management and team leadership skillsAbility to build and manage virtual teams on a global scaleStrong analytical skills-data drivenStrong Financial AcumenStrong project management skillsStrong negotiation, influencing and consensus-building skillsExcellent written/oral communicationsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines, both within and outside HPRequirements: Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing, Finance or Engineering; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Marketplace management experience highly desired.GTM strategy, Category management, P&L, Planning and/or operations experience highly desired.Experience in Services/Contractual business desired.Management consulting experience desired.Leadership Traits
