Paladin has partnered with a food and beverage company in Seattle, WA (sorry, it’s not Buzzfeed, but its way cooler), who is looking for a Director of Brand Marketing!
This is a hybrid marketing and strategy role, and they’re looking for someone who can come in at a birds eye point of view to lead the content and marketing efforts, but who can also roll up their sleeves and work in the weeds when needed.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in the food industry and can bring local and national partnerships to the table.
You’d be a great fit for this role if you have experience with subscription services and have at least 5 years of brand marketing experience.
If you are someone who wants to throw money into social media campaigns, this might not be the job for you.
We are looking for someone who understands organic growth marketing and branding, and is willing to put in the work to take this company to the next level.

We are only considering candidates in Seattle at this time.
This is a full role that pays between $120,000-$180,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Own the marketing strategy and consumer facing messaging across all platforms including social media, email, video, print, etc Build and manage a small team to execute marketing content Manage everything in house and develop the heck out of their audience Develop the subscription acquisition and retention, while tracking and analyzing data to quantify marketing efforts Identify and negotiate high level partnerships and brand affiliates
Requirements
5+ years of consumer brand marketing experience at a strategic level Department head-level budget skills Strong negotiating skills and a track record of partnership-level deal making Ability to work with social media metrics General understanding of on-line retailing and great UX Entertainment marketing experience a plus.
Experience with subscription services a plus
