The pay increases after the probationary period and is contingent upon work ethic and performance. Schedule: Varies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Oversee the preparation and compliance of budgets for Food and Beverage outlets -Develop and execute departmental plans and goals -Forecast revenue projections and monitors cost controls -Assist in budget variance explanations in conjunction with other Kitchen and Food and Beverage Staff -Assist in presenting improvement proposals and justification for capital expense items for equipment and other major purchases and projects -Establish and maintain effective communication between food and beverage departments -Ensure maintenance of safety and sanitation standards and policies, assuring compliance with Health Services guidelines, standards, and regulations -Work closely with Marketing to develop menu and restaurant advertising to keep current with all special events and promotional activities -Manage inventory of all food and beverage equipment and products -Develop menus in close coordination with the head of the kitchen -Oversee and participate in interviewing process -Interview, review, and evaluate the performance of departmental supervisors -Negotiate programs with vendors -Promote continuing improvement in the performance of the department and its employees -Hire, train, discipline, and support employees and supervisors -Ensure quality service and product at all food and beverage areas and outlets -Other duties as assigned How to be successful: -Demonstrated success in the operation and management of a multi-outlet food and beverage facility -Effectively lead a large, multi-cultural, and diverse workforce -Manage cost controls and minimize food and beverage costs while maximizing quality and delivery of product -Experience coordinating staff effectively -Knowledge of cost-effective food preparation, beverage selection, service, sanitation, and employee relations -Experience managing retail food outlets -Knowledge of managing inventory control -Obtain and maintain a class 12 mixologist permit -Obtain and maintain their TIPS certification -Obtain and maintain their Food Handlers Permit -Successful experience in the primary duties of the position in a gaming/casino operation is preferred Benefits offered after the probationary period: -Medical, Dental, Vision insurance package -401(k) plan Apply today.
