National Accounts Manager


This is a Full-time position in Tacoma, WA posted April 28, 2021.

The National Accounts Manager champions the firm’s position as a leading provider of staffing solutions across all major industries.

This position is charged to plan and execute account management and sales strategies to increase market share and profit margins in maintaining and growing our strong position in the marketplace.

The National Accounts Manager will strongly participate in our strategies in the retention of national accounts and thereby drive market share and revenues and acts as a single point of accountability for strategic solutions for an assigned list of major accounts.

Works closely with sales leaders in developing account management/sales strategies designed to sustain and mature the relationships.

Oversee sales and service requirements for the assigned account groups and regularly monitor technology tools to ensure retention and sales are maximized and service levels are maintained according to the established key performance indicators.

Accountable for expanding revenues for assigned account groups, conduct quarterly reviews, review account management and sales plans to grow existing account business through targeting account retention and sales penetration within the targeted accounts.

Growth of assigned book of business; book of business is between $10M and $30M.

Understand key success drivers for each customer and deliver a solution that meets/exceeds customer needs Establish account management PULSE strategy for Top 3 to 5 accounts with clear strategies and tactics to drive customer success.

Precise execution of strategies.

Develop relationships with key buying influences throughout the organization.

Create strategies to allow the field to easily fill positions Communicate with field teams so they know exactly what is required to sell and fill each position type properly.

Own pricing strategy including determining the appropriate pay rate to hire and retain workers Drive gross margin within guidelines established by SVP, National Accounts Strong communications skills and a partnering mentality with our field teams is a must

At least five years related experience selling to senior level customers with at least three years in account management and strategic sales of major accounts; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior experience in the staffing industry preferred.

Vision, strategic planning and awareness, project management skills.

Strong record of sales and major account retention and growth.

Success in delivering results through sales teams.

Efficiently plans, organizes and streamlines processes.

Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and ability to persuade an audience.

Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.

Ability to market and sell the company’s value proposition.

Demonstrative success in developing and maintaining professional contacts.

Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels of management and employees.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make decisions.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as resumes and procedure manuals.

Valid driver’s license.

Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%
Expert level Excel Strong user of all Microsoft products

Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds.
