Product Manager, Global Security Operation Center (GSOC)

This is a Full-time position in Seattle, WA posted March 3, 2021.

What you will do You will be responsible for managing the product lines for Global Security Operation Center (GSOC) customers.

This will include managing product development programs from conception through commercialization, owning new product introduction and obsolescence, overseeing cost-out/value-engineering initiatives, coordinating new market expansion, and assisting with brand development programs.

Significant global, cross-functional interaction and project management is required across the organization with global sales, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and other functions.

How you will do it Monitor the financial performance of all assigned products/regions.

Understand multi-year strategies for growth and initiate and manage tactical programs that execute the strategy.

Oversee New Product Introduction process: Collect “Voice of the Customer” information to develop critical commercial specifications Build financial business cases to support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs Work extensively with China/global cross-functional teams to champion new product development requirements through the Rally Point process from concept to launch.

Track project progress in the organization’s Rally Point project system Work with Technical Services on sales and channel enablement training programs, ensuring all technical documents and marketing literature are accurate and disseminated.

Provide subject matter expertise by collaborating with Sales team to identify emerging markets and products needed to effectively compete in the Indian market, and support sales organization, channel partners, and customers.

Portfolio management including cost-out/value-engineering initiatives, approvals, re-certifications, SKU rationalization, cost reduction programs, project management and other product needs.

Keep abreast of industry developments to ensure product roadmap quality and competitiveness.

Quickly and effectively respond to inquiries and complaints from internal and external customers.

Travel within India and/or regionally to diagnose customer and product needs, enhancements and new applications.

Perform other duties as assigned by product segment management.

What we look for Required:Minimum of 10 years of solid product management, project management or product development experience within a large multinational company Knowledge within the security and/or technology industry 5+ years of experience within a Global Security Operation Center (GSOC) environmentStrong business acumen and marketing strategies, tools and processes Sound understanding of new product development process and introduction experience Skilled project manager with good knowledge of Six Sigma, Rally Point or equivalent project management toolsProven experience with Microsoft Project softwarePreferred: Exposure to the Fire Suppression-related industryKnowledge and experience with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies Johnson Controls International plc.
