Regional Mortgage Production Manager – West Region

First Federal Savings and Loan

This is a Full-time position in Port Angeles, WA posted June 25, 2021.

We are passionate about hiring the very best talent and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.Position Purpose:The Regional Mortgage Production Manager works to drive mortgage production within the given market. This includes recruitment of additional lenders, identification and solicitation of marketing opportunities, and personal mortgage production. This individual will also provide support for all mortgage lenders in the market helping to ensure successful sales strategies, lender growth and effective pipeline management.Essential Functions:* Lead and develop a team of mortgage loan officers to achieve required performance levels.* Originate residential mortgage loans to the targeted servicing market.* Effectively manage loan production pipeline to ensure accuracy at all times.* Work with Director of Mortgage Lending to identify and resolve market needs (products, marketing, etc.)* Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.* Demonstrate a commitment to professional ethics in the performance of all lending activities and ensure compliance with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhering to HMDA requirements.* Establish and promote networking opportunities within the community that will aid in the promotion of Bank products.* Maintain a high standard of professionalism and support for overall customer service goals in personal responsibilities and in support of lending team. Support the collection efforts on delinquent and distressed loans as requested.* Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, documentation and compliance requirements.* Participate in continuing education to stay up to date with industry, regulatory and operational changes.* Participate in process improvement work and projects.* Perform related duties and responsibilities as required and other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:* Experience in mortgage origination* High school diploma or equivalentDesired Qualifications:* Two to three years of demonstrated and effective experience in mortgage loan origination and mortgage lender supervision. The ideal candidate has current experience in lending coupled with a primary focus of actively seeking clients and recruiting lenders.* Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for mortgage lending.* Knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines relevant to mortgage lending.* Knowledge of processing underwriting and/or closing procedures/federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.* Goal driven with demonstrated sales skills* Strong presentation skills and customer service capabilities.* Demonstrated ability to meet established goals through effective time management that allows handling of multiple transactions throughout the workday.* Proficiency with PC applications including MS Office Suite.Physical Requirements:The work requires the ability to operate office machines and equipment, such as personal computers, printers, copying machines and telephones. The work requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and others in person and on telephones. Work activities involve combinations of sitting/standing for extended periods.
