A beloved community hospital in scenic Western Washington State seeks a RN Director Surgery Operating Room to join their dedicated nursing administration team!
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Director Surgery Operating Room will be well supported by a Perioperative Services Nurse Manager and a skilled team of Circulating and Scrubbing RNs. The RN Director Surgery Operating Room will oversee 4 Operating Rooms and a growing Perioperative Service Line with 5,500-6,000 annual cases including General Surgery, Orthopedic, Spinal, GYN, ENT, Dental, Endoscopic HI, Ophthalmic, Plastic, Podiatry, Urological, and Outpatient Surgery. The RN Director Surgery Operating Room will also collaborate frequently with the Nurse Director Medical Surgical Pediatrics.
The RN Director Surgery Operating Room will be responsible for strategic planning, budget management, program development, policies and procedures implementation, performance improvement and compliance. The Nurse Director Medical Surgical Pediatrics will collaborate with other Nursing Directors, Ancillary Directors, Nursing Administration and Physicians in a variety of committees within the hospital.
