You will be engaged with inside retail sales, marketing, and business development while providing quality customer service.Additional responsibilities of a Sales Manager include:Sales AdministrationDriving sales to meet or exceed budgetExecuting the company’s selling programProviding excellent customer service during and after the saleMaintaining awareness of competitor’s advertisements and services offeredCompleting assigned training and developmentParticipating in company/vendor training classes to remain current on products, offerings, and programsStore ExecutionEnsuring assigned stores are to company standardsFollowing opening and closing procedures and balancing of booksEnsuring policies and state regulations are followedManaging merchandise through verifying open orders daily, transferring merchandise, bagging floor models for transfers and/or customer pickupsCommunicating with management to keep them informedAssisting in the administrative functions of the storeCompleting other projects and specials assignments as requested by supervisorStore MerchandisingEnsuring merchandise and POP is current and displayed appropriatelyEnsuring consistency of store pricingManaging the movement of damaged, discontinued, and slow moving merchandiseSales Manager (Sales Manager in Training)Job RequirementsCandidates should possess superior communication and customer service skills.
