n n nn As Senior Director of Partnerships, you’ll represent FiscalNote’s brand and lead relationships with key recurring revenue-generating licensees and strategic partnerships.

You will manage our partnerships, from development to launch and ongoing partner management and revenue growth.

You will grow these partnerships
– ranging from data and content licensing to referral partnership with large enterprises.

– meeting essential metrics of revenue growth and profitability.

nn nn This is a key role for the Business Development Team, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, leveraging a good mix of skills including an ability to understand a variety of potential revenue-generating licensing and partnership opportunities and their value propositions, build and deepen these commercial relationships, work effectively with both internal and external teams, and increase the growth of our business.

nn nWhat to Expect in this Role:n Develop FiscalNote’s licensing and partnership strategy and build annual plans to execute against it Lead analysis of existing licensing and partnership status, including scope of opportunity, revenue outcomes, legal considerations, etc.

Evaluate strategic considerations, such as strengths and weaknesses, and develop plans to optimize strategic impact of partnerships.

Lead negotiations with existing and new partners with respect to data and content licensing and commercial collaboration.

Build deep and trusting relationships with counterparts at partner firms in order to promote collaboration, support visioning of growth areas and facilitate negotiations.

Understand and evaluate existing partnership contractual underpinnings, identify risks and opportunities and communicate details effectively to legal and non-legal colleagues.

Partner with internal product and content teams to create and sustain a plan for partnership development and expansion.

Maintain external industry contacts and draw on those contacts for insight into emerging trends and developments.

Develop and utilize technology tools to track and provide visibility into partnership initiatives.

Lay the groundwork for a partnership function to support growth and scale.

nWhat Sets You Apart: n 7+ years of strategic business, product and/or partnerships experience Experience managing business relationships and projects in the software or information services industries.  2-3+ years at an investment or business consulting firm a plus Experience building and managing relationships with senior business leaders, both internally and externally Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, managing initiatives at scale and delivering results Strong analytical, communication and relationship building skills FiscalNote is continuing to hire new talent, with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19.
