The Product & Technology Communications team enables the organization to achieve its strategic objectives by delivering messages that are simplified, engaging, accessible, coordinated, and inclusive.

We focus on improving communication throughout the Product & Technology organization, including leadership communication, employee engagement, organization events, community outreach, and implementation of communication and collaboration tools.

The team is responsible for the following:
Sharing information with employees throughout our organization through proactively finding stories and creating engaging, original content Supporting P&T leadership with communication needs including message development, brand management, all-hands meetings and more Continuous improvement of internal communications methods and channels for optimum employee engagement Planning and managing org-wide events, including coordinating venues, content, and event staff Supporting rollout and driving adoption of new collaboration and communication tools Reinforcing awareness of cross-departmental strategies and goals Building the Product & Technology organization’s visibility company-wide Championing productive collaboration via transparency and accountability Helping support and grow an innovative and creative working environment
What you’ll do in your role.

Leadership: Mentors and coaches others on the team.

Ensures efficiency is improved and quality is delivered.

Business Partnership: Serves as a business partner and provides senior-level communications counsel including mentoring and feedback to develop management communications skills for internal and external audiences; drafts and edits senior leadership speeches, presentations, news releases and e-mail; scripts, edits and produces videos, encourages others to high levels of performance and alignment with what we value and organizational requirements.

Gains solid understanding about the specific focus area of business in order to help implement client operations and make recommendations to management, clarifies client leadership communications requirements and coordinates service delivery.Builds positive client relationships.
Products and Services Communications: Partners cross functionally to craft communication strategies that introduce new products/services, improve brand reputation, and reinforce service leadership and network quality perceptions, changes and other key initiatives across critical partners, including proactive and reactive management of the news media.
Internal & External Communications: Develops and manages internal employee communications and “voice” utilizing innovative communications solutions, including enterprise portal.

Works with agency support to ensure timely and effective implementation of integrated communications alignment of messaging to support business priorities and future success.

Measures and reports program impact based on partner feedback and business results.

Develops and implements communications messages in response to issues or crisis management that will enhance and protect relationships with stakeholders, customers, and the general public.
Budget Management: Leads work for annual budgeting process and ongoing budget management and review; manages vendor relationships.
Supports team initiatives and creates an inclusive environment.

The experience you’ll bring.

As Sr.

Communications Manager on the Product & Technology Communications team, you will play a key role on a cross-functional and cross-organizational group, supporting internal communications.
More specifically: Provide strategic and tactical support of communications needs for the organization’s SVPs Lead the continuing evolution and improvement of VP communications support Develop and improve employee communication and engagement programs Source and write original content Design templates and graphics for a variety of digital communications Evangelize Product & Technology leadership’s vision Provide brand and identity oversight for P&T communications and presentations Coordinate approvals for external presentations and programs Contribute to short
– and long-term communications strategy Identify communications gaps and solutions for improvement Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal/visual) with varied audiences Experience working directly with and counseling senior leadership Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities; history of anticipating issues and are comfortable dealing with ambiguity Thrive on being part of a dynamic organization that is constantly evolving to meet business needs.

Background in editorial journalism, technical writing, and/or creative writing and editing Proficient in MS Office Suite, including experience creating executive-level presentations Experience in collaborative practice and conscious inclusion Superior interpersonal and business skills Ability to learn new technical skills and understand new technology concepts Multi-media and/or graphic design experience a strong plus The ability to conceptualize, plan and create infographics, images and other visuals from complex concepts and/or data is a strong plus, though not mandatory Technology background preferred, but not mandatory
