Sr Product Manager Technical (Accessibility)

The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) at T-Mobile is driving a culture shift that will make accessibility part of everything we do. Our vision is to go beyond 100% compliance and truly make accessibility and inclusion part of T-Mobile’s corporate DNA. Our team is looking for Web Accessibility Product Manager with a proven knowledge of digital accessibility. In this role you will support the teams in designing and driving the delivery of digital accessibility products and solutions at T-Mobile. To be successful in this role you should be able to understand and communicate the broader implications of implementing any accessibility strategy across all business units, while being able to articulate the implications at a project-level. We will look to you to provide direction, guidance, oversight, and support to help teams across the enterprise to successfully incorporate accessibility requirements into the SDLC and deliver digital accessibility solutions on time with quality. You must have the patience of a teacher, with the ability to repeatedly explain principles of digital accessibility. You have deep understanding of accessible design principals, and you are able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams across the enterprise. Deep knowledge and understanding of the different accessibility laws, including WCAG requirements You have experience working with colleagues and customers who individuals with Blindness, low vision, who are Deaf or hard of hearing and individuals who have mobility differences that translate to the usage of adapted accessibility platforms. Using your communication and influencing skills and experience to build and maintain relationships, credibility and trust with business, product and technical partners. Evaluating, defining, and when required, prototyping appropriate approaches for any proposed accessibility solution. Assisting internal delivery teams with on-going development processes and implementation of accessibility throughout the software development lifecycle. Run automated scans and manual assessments on web pages to identify accessibility issues, suggested fixes, and prioritization. Help teams understand accessibility requirements, available tools, solutions and prioritization. Drive innovation, education, growth and development of digital accessibility across the enterprise. Benchmark best practices, identify next practices, and incorporate into best-in-class accessibility programs, processes, procedures, and tools.
