Sr Program Manager

Job Description The Program Manager focuses on RD projects to support existing products, leads project teams, and is responsible for enforcing best practices within the teams, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, compliance requirements while mentoring and growing the skill set of the team. RESPONSIBILITIES bull Manage a portfolio of projects to support and enhance existing products. bull Work with product management, sales, marketing and clinical teams to understand the needs of our customers. bull Work with Sales, Marketing, Business Unit Head, Supply Chain Management and Operations (cross-functional team) to understand the needs of the business. bull Develop schedules, risk analysis, and tradeoff analysis for products based on input requirements and specifications. bull Drive to consensus on priority within the sustaining projects stack bull Work with cross-functional team to prioritize features and technical improvements and build these into a product. bull Manage the development of required plans and documentation for all development activities. bull Drive projects via ECO or Phase Gate process as appropriate bull Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on the requirements, with a constant focus on delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations and are fully compliant with government regulations across our customer base, including FDA, CSA, EU, CFDA and others. Ensure development methods leading to high quality products are followed. bull Continuously seek innovative ways to improve development productivity through the introduction of new technologies, systems, and methods and controls. bull Provide communications and formal project reviews with senior management, program team and others as required. bull Develop metrics to monitor key projects. REQUIREMENTS bull Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar related degree. bull 7+ years’ experience in related industry and positions – for example, RD or TestVV, or Operations Engineering in capital equipment, medical device, or other regulated industry. bull 5+ years’ experience in managing complex development projects within demanding timeframes desired. Solid understanding of the development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management. bull Knowledge of FDA and medical device regulatory and registration requirements, or work in a similarly regulated industry is desirable (e.g., FAA regulated industries). bull Demonstrated track record of encouraging innovation and out-of-box thinking. bull Highly developed relationship-building skills, and strong presentation and communication skills. bull Proven ability to deliver results through others, both in direct and matrixed organizational models. bull Proven ability to lead dedicated, passionate teams, including an ability to motivate and hold others accountable. bull Excellent communication and negotiation skills, for both internal and external audiences, at all levels. bull A great ?euro?can-do?euro? and collaborative attitude is a must. bull Must travel internationally and be able to acquire all necessary travel documents.
