Sr Manager, Project Management and Portfolio Tools

The Marketing Planning, GTM & Integration team is dedicated to near-and long-term planning and execution activities for marketing initiatives that impact T-Mobile’s customers.

This includes functions supporting integrated program/project management, strategic Marketing planning, Marketing communications, go-to-market activities and the tools required to support those activities.

The Enterprise Delivery Organization (EDO) is part of this team and responsible for enterprise project management of T-Mobile’s cross-functional, complex projects and product launches as well as tool and process support of enterprise planning and project delivery.
This position and its team are within the EDO and responsible for tools and tools support of Marketing, enterprise-wide prioritization and planning as well as other support services for the EDO.
You will own the tool used across the enterprise for enterprise prioritization and planning as well as a tool platform on which other tool solutions are built and maintained.

What you’ll do in your role.
Manage the team and the tools that support enterprise planning and portfolio management as well as other tool solutions that bring business benefit to Marketing and the broader Enterprise.

Responsible for setting the vision and driving the annual roadmap of tool capabilities / features based on input from Marketing and Enterprise functions where tools and automation deliver business benefit.

This role must also evaluate emerging trends in automation and usability best practices to include into the roadmap and build into the skillset of the team.

Leads the team in their coordination, collaboration and partnership with stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure that its tools serve as the single-source-of-truth for initiatives across the enterprise and support stakeholder’s needs and contributions to enterprise planning.

This position and team also provide other support services to the EDO that enable the EDO to more efficiently and effectively deliver projects.

You may represent the EDO in process and tooling discussions with other organizations as well as advising the EDO leadership in regard to those tools and processes.

The experience you’ll bring.
7-10 years working in a collaborative environment, identifying solutions, and guiding others in creating solutions to fulfill business opportunities.

Experience establishing and promoting a vision or roadmap based on input from a user community and from industry trends.

Demonstrated track record of strong consulting skills and experience to apply tool solutions to operational issues.

Ability to understand business process and apply process and tool solutions that bring value to those processes Experience leading teams.

Experience balancing the demands on the team with the limited size, capacity and skills of the team.

Experience managing development of others.

Excellent written and communication skills; effective communication with all employee levels and levels of management.

Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.

Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint) and Visio Broad enterprise perspective, understand the business, understand project management and the EDO’s role in the organization, and advise peers and other leaders both within the EDO and across its business partner teams.

Bachelors Degree required.

Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform tools and applications (Power Apps, Power Automate, Common Data Service, and Power BI) Understanding of an Agile software development lifecycle Kick back with paid time off.
