Location Seattle, WA Description Our client is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to carried out the following responsibilities. Responsibilities Enable the Test and Launch Engineering team to effectively design, build, and activate ground facilities and data and control systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of component, sub-assembly, and vehicle level testing for rockets and their components. Manage project schedules, budgets, material procurements, and resource allocations for multiple projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Be responsible for project execution in a timely manner and within budget. Develop and maintain project schedules, analyzing critical path tasks and evaluating scope change impacts, escalating issues and providing mitigations early and often. Prepare budgets for proposals, establish project baselines, and maintain budget through project completion. Procure hardware and track status of critical procurements and their schedule impacts. Monitor material spending against budget. In collaboration with managers, designers, and operations teams, you will support resource allocation across multiple projects (portfolio) and the improvement of existing and new project management tools, templates, and processes. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree project management, business or related field, or demonstrated experience. Knowledge of scheduling and planning short (1-month) projects and longer (5-year) projectsprograms. Knowledge of project planning and integrated master schedules (IMS). Experience with resource loaded schedules using Primavera (P6), Open Plan, MS Project, or other software. 3+ years’ experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace Project Management Certification (PMPCertified Project Manager) or Program Management Office (PMO) experience Experience with earned value metrics Earned Value Management (EVM) experience Experience with Deltek, COBRA, costschedule integration tools Experience in the following areas budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting. Ability to travel up to 25. or national, U.S. permanent resident (current holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Desired Degree and experience in both engineering and business or project management.
