nn TERRITORY MANAGER FOR WEST WASHINGTON, ALASKA AND HAWAII nn nn n nn nn POSTION SUMMARY: nn nnMeet and exceeds annual territory sales forecasts and gross profit targets for Country Life Vitamins, through strategic account management of independent markets.

Territory encompasses multi-state region.

Responsible for projected growth through implementation of company strategies and programs, with focus on assortment expansion and promotional execution.

Supervises Territory Specialist to effectively support store sales and maintain first-class service, promote sell through and assist in elevating retailer partnerships.

Responsible for territory key account performance of Sprout’s Farmer’s Market and NGVC through the continued development of relationships and sales initiative support.nn nn nn nn SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES: nn nnSupervises daily activities of Territory Specialist.nn nn nn nn ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: nn Manages annual sales forecasts for territory.

Participates in the determination of territory market potential and preparation of territory sales expense estimates.

Responsible for implementing sales strategies, achieving set goals and meeting budgets.

Maintains & manages consistent call cycle by planning & organizing daily work schedule to meet with decision maker; control inventory, analyze results, assess needs and provide solutions.

Creates & presents effective proposals that identifies the customers’ business needs & offer solutions through consultative selling.

Supervises daily activities of Territory Specialist to support Territory Manager sales initiatives and key account performance; providing set goals, direction and guidance.

Participates in the recruitment, interviewing and on-boarding of Territory Specialists.

Effectively & consistently, analyzes and uses Gamgee Reports & SPINS data to identify opportunities with new and existing accounts to expand assortment, introduce new items or cross-merchandise.

Supports category performance through effective promotional execution and volume buy-ins.

Responsible for working within company guidelines for discounting, ensuring a profitable gross margin.

Provides regular territory analysis of performance and sales to Regional Sales Manager, seeking improvement on sales techniques and processes to drive results.

Provides extensive customer contact via store visits, Territory Specialist support, scheduled monthly phone calls and email blasts.

Prospects and develops new business through; referrals, cold calling, social media, territory market research and new leads.

Gathers competitive marketplace information on pricing, product development, promotional opportunities, merchandising and marketing support initiatives and provides to company.

Participation in promotional events and industry events to cultivate customer relationships.

Maintains professional & technical knowledge by participating in educational webinars, reviewing professional publications and corporate trainings.
