This position is responsible for the strategic planning, administration, and management of the WSU Tri-Cities GEAR UP project at a designated large school.Position requires a Bachelors degree and four (4) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience.

One (1) year or more years of experience leading or directing the work of others.

A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience.

Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.Student Achievement SpecialistWSU Tri-Cities GEAR UP is seeking Student Achievement Specialists for the Kennewick High School locations.

Positions have the responsibilities of tutoring, advising and mentoring students to include assessing participants needs and creating individual action plans.

Provide student and academic support services to increase college and career readiness, guide students with college and career exploration, support in planning and supervising field trips to college campuses.Positions require a Bachelors degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience.
